Introducing ELS 6.5!
We are excited to introduce Essential Learning Systems (ELS) version 6.5! ELS is flexible platform software that uses a multidimensional, therapeutic approach to address the reading, language and learning development needs of students of all ages. A sampling of the features of ELS 6.5 include: sensory integrated exercises, totally interactive tasks, individualized sequences and modifiable lessons; an automated management system; and nationally normed evaluations.

This year, CEI has added a substantial new feature, the Computerized ELS Placement, to the ELS software. As always, CEI developed this exciting new feature because we strongly believe that interaction between educators and students is key in making life-changing differences. The feature, which simplifies the Placement testing process considerably, lets students take the ELS Placement on their own computers. Since teachers don’t have to test each student individually, they can follow a variety of testing schedules. Once students have completed the test, the feature automates the ELS lesson selection, freeing the facilitator’s time to work one-on-one with the students. The Computerized ELS Placement also maintains Placement testing records and even provides detailed testing reports that include information about the test format order, the ceilings and the students’ starting lessons.

Correlations
